Guacamole
1 medium Avocado
1 Tbs Lime juice
2 Tbs Salsa
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp Garlic powder
1/2 tsp Onion powder
Cut open the avocado, remove pit, and using a spoon scoop out the meat. Mash with a fork and then add a few squirts of lime juice. Add seasonings and salsa to taste.
There are so many great variations you could add to this recipe, and you can use the guacamole as a dip or add it to one of your favorite meals. So good!
Hummus
1 (15 oz) can Garbanzo beans, drained, liquid reserved
1 clove Garlic, crushed
2 tsp Ground cumin
1/2 tsp salt
1 Tbs Olive oil
In a blender or food processor
combine garbanzo beans, garlic, cumin, salt and olive oil. Blend on low
speed, gradually adding reserved bean liquid, until desired consistency
is achieved.
